About

"The Tastiest Week In San Antonio"

Black Restaurant Week San Antonio (BRWSA) is a week-long event that celebrates the contributions of Black-owned restaurants, food trucks, and businesses along with Black professionals in the culinary industry. The event was founded in 2018. The first BRWSA was held in 2019 and has since become a beloved and much anticipated annual tradition in the city.

The purpose of BRWSA is to promote cuisine, culture, and community. By highlighting the best that the Participants have to offer, the event helps to raise awareness of the important role that they play in the city's vibrant food scene. Additionally, when patrons purchase the BRWSA Special during the event, $1 from the purchase helps to raises funds for local charities, making it a win-win for both the local businesses and San Antonio. Thanks to the community and our sponsoring partners we have raised close to $30,000 for the

San Antonio Food Bank.
